What is going on in Beverly Hills, CA? Monday 3.2 magnitude earth quake & last night a 3.5? I have lived on the west side of Los Angeles for over 15 plus years, I cannot remember having an Earthquake in Beverly Hills, CA. Monday I woke up to a 3.2 magnitude earth quake around 3:37 am. Last night I was still reading on the couch 12:05 a.m. and I almost fell off the couch. Just to give you perspective Monday our cats just sat up from their sleeping positions. Last night they moved around and showed concern. The best Pilsner beer ever:  Victory Pilsner in Beverly Hills, CA I consider myself predominatly a wine drinker, but on a hot summer day there is nothing better than an ice cold beer.   My favorite is a good Pilsner. Normally I drink the “original” from what used to be Czechoslovakia and now the Czech Republic.  Always in the market for a new discovery, I went to  one of my favorite local wine store for a good Pilsner recommendation and the rest is history. The Summer Olympics of 2012 Started in London Today! As most of you know the Summer Olympics started today. Times like this I reflect and remember how my parents used to get the TV Guide Magazine with  the ’ insert’  listing all the events with dates and times. In those days we did not know it was a Spread Sheet. How fun it was to schedule our lives to the events that we wanted to see and enjoy. Three easy steps to make Chocolate Covered Strawberries! The first step is always the hardest to find good sweet strawberries. Usually in California that is easy there are Trucks on the side of the Road and they sell the sweetest strawberries you can imagine. The second step is to separate them into smaller quantities. How hard is that? Please buy enough so you have some left because you might eat the product you are trying to make. Then the third step is quite easy, buying some dark chocolate from Ghirardelli the ones that most people use for Chocolate Chipped cookies.  Take about a cup full give or take and depending on your microwave zapped them two or three times for 30 seconds.
