Crestline home sales for the Month of March 2011.  We are still seeing a lot of foreclosure and short sale action happening in the Crestline home sales.  The one thing that this is showing is that it is an excellent market for a Buyer to get in on a good thing.  If you are looking for a vacation home or a full time home, the Iron will never be hotter in the Lake Gregory/Crestline area.  If you are wanting information on homes available in Crestline please let us know. Good day all. I generally don't toot my horn but I got a glowing testimonial from a client that just purchased a home here in Crestline. It was a small cabin that had a couple of issues. Nothing major, but putting the deal together was frustrating because of the agent on the other side. Who actually wasn't the agent on the deal he was the go-between myself and the broker who was the agent for the bank.  How confusing was that when we finally realized why it was taking so long!  In the beginning also the agent uploaded the offer as a non-owner occupied, meaning rental property, when it was owner occupied. My Butt is Freezing, and Other Mountain Homeownership Stories   “My butt is freezing. This bathroom is too stinking cold and we need to fix it!” Each spring comes with the heralding of warmer weather, and right about that time the project list is taken off of the dusty shelf. The Crestline ~ Lake Gregory area home sales compared from 2009 to 2010.  The volume of homes sold over the 2009 year was less than 2010, however the pricing had some major changes.  The Crestline market had a lot of foreclosures along with regular home sales.  This is a negative to some, however this could be a positive for people wanting a vacation home in the mountain area, there is no better time to buy.  2009 Summary ~ A total of 168 homes sold in Crestline/Lake Gregory, out of the 168 homes, 85 of the homes were bank owned.  That is a market share of almost 51% foreclosures in the Crestline market.  As you can see the majority of homes sold in the $100,000 range.  8 homes sold between $29,161 ~ $50,000 44 homes sold between $50,000 ~ $99,000 52 homes sold between $100,000 ~ $150,0...

Crestline, CA home sales for the month of December 2010.
