Awards to Cupertino High's Jenny Padgett, Gene Kim  Lighthouse Guild is awarding a college scholarship of$7,500 to Cupertino High’s Gene Kim, who plans to attend Stanford University. The 2019 Lighthouse Guild Teacher Award recipient isJenny Padgett, a teacher atCupertinoHigh School inCalifornia.    Her student nominee, Gene Kim, says, "Mrs. Padgett was my Honors American Literature teacher during my eleventh grade, and she remains one of the most academically and socially influential teachers in my life. I handed my CPA data in second half of February and they just got around to process mine after 5 weeks. I will not refer any clients to him any more as he is overloaded affecting our process.  The great thing is he has RE broker, financial investment, insurance licenses as well.
