Matt Stensby of RE/MAX NOC guides us through one of Downtown Fullerton's hotspots at Roscoe's Deli. Matt got a chance to talk and ask questions with Jordan, the general manager.Roscoe's just celebrated their 9th year in business. When a restaurant doesn't have to change it's menu over their 9 year existence you know they're doing something right. It's the perfect place for special events and especially for watching football games on one of their many 70" TV's. They've got a shuffleboard for some fun, an outdoor patio for hanging out with a couple of friends or a big party, and live music on Friday and Saturday night. One of the greatest, if not the greatest part of Roscoe's is that they take pride in their community. Fullerton natives, Roscoe's is very involved in city-wide and county-...

INVENTORY UP AND SALES DOWN IN FULLERTON CA Real estate listings hit an 18 month high, with the number of homes for sale in Fullerton, California jumping 11.7% between August and September 2013. And, although inventory is nowhere near the level experienced during the foreclosure crisis, Fullerton CA real estate listings did increase more than 58% on a year to year basis. This is due, in part, to the recent decrease in affordability; Interest rates and prices climbed higher, leaving some buyers unable to qualify for a home in Fullerton, which had been a favorite with first time buyers over the past several years. The spike in listings can also be attributed to the annual lull that we experience at the end of the summer buying season, as well as a surge in Fullerton homeowners that have r...

FULLERTON REAL ESTATE LISTINGS RISE AGAIN IN AUGUST 2013 The number of homes for sale in Fullerton, California rose for the third consecutive month, posting an increase of 23.1% between July and August 2013, and a year over year gain of 30.5%. Although Fullerton real estate listings have increased, the inventory level remains low and is still far below what would be seen in a balanced market of buyers and sellers. This is especially true when it comes to the number of available listings in the entry level price range of $500,000 and below. Pending real estate sales continued to decrease in Fullerton, with a 14.4% month to month drop and a 37% yearly decline between August 2012 and August 2013. The slump in pending sales can be attributed to the low inventory level and will most likely c...

REAL ESTATE LISTINGS HIT A 12 MONTH HIGH IN FULLERTON CA Real estate listings increased to their highest level since June of last year, with a month over month jump of 23% in the number of homes for sale in Fullerton, California. However, inventory remains low, which has continued to push prices higher in Fullerton. Another factor contributing to the jump in prices is the lack of distressed listings in Fullerton, which have all but vanished. This is especially true of short sale listings, which posted a  decrease of nearly 74% in July 2013, when compared to the previous year. As expected, pending real estate sales fell in Fullerton, California on a month to month and year to year basis, which is a direct result of the inventory shortage. Unless there is a substantial increase in the num...

REAL ESTATE SALES RISE IN FULLERTON CA The number of homes for sale in Fullerton, California crept up by just over 11% in June 2013 compared to one month earlier, but remained 24.8% below year ago listing stats. The low level of inventory continues to spur multiple offer situations, increased prices, and quick sales. Pending home sales in Fullerton were stagnant month over month, and reflected a decrease of 24.5% on a year to year basis, as of June 2013. A decrease in pending sales was inevitable, due to the decreasing supply of homes for sale in Fullerton. The real estate sales figures in June were almost identical to those in May, rising by only 4.4% month over month. However, when compared to one year earlier, sales jumped by nearly 17%. Although sales figures increased, in June of 2...
