13 Days Left Before Before Paying a Hefty Capital Gains Tax Boy time was ticking fast and I had not been able to find a replacement property for my clients to buy in the competitive Oakland market.My clients sold their condo in San Jose and had 13 days left before they could no longer take advantage of the 1031 tax advantage on an investment property.
