Well in the good old days we used to throw an Oscar Party... well those days are gone... so what did we do? Well we celebrated just like if there was a big party:). I guess I am exaggerating, we popped a not too extravagant Champaign which was still very good. Now with that said. It's like the word is out that all the crazy people in Los Angeles should head to Hollywood Boulevard. Probably because they will blend right in and not stand out. There are so many of them. Throw in the tourists, the porn lingerie shops, the guys who start walking in the crosswalk but then suddenly stop, head sideways cocked, to look at the sun or a bird crapping on their head from overhead, hard to say, but these oblivious attitudes holds up traffic.Not that it matters. The drivers aren't much better. After they almost kill you by zipping through red lights while speeding, they are polite enough to wave a hand in the air as though it makes their actions OK. Yesterday, my fiance and I were strolling along Sunset Blvd after waiting online to see a screening for Jordan Peel's movie, 'Get Out' and told it was full. Turned out to be a good thing because we wondered into Amoeba Music (The worlds largest independent record store). I headed up stairs to get a better view of the record store and when I had a moment to really appreciate the vast collection, I just stared in wonder. It was pretty out of sight to see so many CD's, Records, posters, books and many other 'random' items. The chain of music stores first started in Berkley, CA back in 1990 paving the way for several other store to open, including the one on Sunset Blvd in 2001.  02/16/2017

Its very refreshing and exciting when we have opportunities to watch movies that really help open your perspective, especially in times like today.
