Mother's Day is this weekend and with that comes the idea that we can finally get out and get busy in the yard.I have lived here for just over 10 years and I have in that time wasted many times in the yard prior to Mother's Day planting flowers and plants to only have the seasons last snow storm come in and wipe me out.  It took me a while but I finally have it down to a science.  I have all of my pots ready to go and I am thinking about what I would like to have around the house this summer, color wise and all.  Our local Nurseries are great to buy from.  The crews at each of them are knowledgable, friendly and really want to help out.  The Dogwoods are blooming all over the mountain right now and the array of colors is awesome.  Here is a list of a few of the nurseries in our area.  G... 05/06/2008

UPDATE: I discovered a few more worthy (in my opinion) of checking out! You don't have to leave the mountain to get a good meal! I know, I've tried most restaurants here... I came in to the office today, and can I say that spring fever hit me hard... The week has been chilly to say the least, but I perservere every day wearing my capris and sandals and freezing my toosh off.  I feel that if I just keep wearing them the sun will warm the air.Well today, it is Awesome!!! 70 degrees, the sky is crystal blue, the lake is just beckoning for me to join in.  I have a pretty busy schedule for the weekend, however, I will make time for the free concert in the Lake Arrowhead Village, and I will make time to get down to the lake and play a bit, even though the water might be too cold still.  The weekend will be around 75.  I know it is going to be a great weekend here, well... every weekend here is great, whether it is summer or winter, but this one will be the best ... 05/02/2008

Some people prefer to see business photos of agents. I do have one.  My funny story is that I was talking to a client and she pointed to my photo in an advertisement and asked if I knew that person. So I guess I do not look like my business photo. I think I am glad!I have so much eye make up on it almost makes my eyes hurt!! But I love the scarf. My friend Mary made it for me.
