You might recall I wrote a couple posts about Montrose, California and specifically this cute street called Honolulu Street. Well, the real reason we went there was because Diane wanted to visit the sister bookstore of Lost Books in LA the one in Downtown Los Angeles aka DTLA.Needless to say, we were both looking forward to seeing this bookstore that opened during the Pandemic.  It was very quaint, and we wanted to spend time browsing. There were a great many others where browsing. Sadly, there was one person who kept coughing incessantly for like five minutes. I told Diane I am leaving and will stay outside with Holly.  She understood and shortly came out too.  Now with the Pandemic people should be more considerate, I was not the only one who walked out. Well, I am sure if you asked John Pusa  he would say yes.  Many years ago, Diane and I stumbled on Montrose's Honolulu Ave by accident. I was heading somewhere else and took a wrong turn. Of course, I said we need to come back. Well time just flew by. Diane has been nudging me to go to a bookstore for a while, well today was the day.  Long story short we stopped in at a few places and we were hungry. There were a few places that looked interesting, but we wanted something simple but tasty.Now with that said we stopped at 'Basin 141' and we had a fun late afternoon lunch early dinner.
