Who would't like to visit Bethlehem at Christmas? In 2020, Santa Clara First Baptist offers a free drive-through Bethlehem experience nightly from 6:30 pm-9:00 pm every night in December except for Christmas Day, December 25th.For many years the church put on a Live "walk-through" Bethlehem experience, including Roman centurions, shepherds, wise men, angels, Joseph, Mary and Jesus, as well as live animals including sheep, goats and even a camel. As an avid reader of classical fantasy novels such as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien; and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis; I love the idea of National Appreciate a Dragon Day on January 16.Without a dramatic dragon, how can a hero possibly defeat a villain?Ever since Beowolf, the dragon has been symbolic of an overwhelming foe.
