As of today 5/20/23There are about 170 homes for sale in the Town of Apple Valley, CA.29 of them are in one of senior gated communities. The average home in the senior area for sale  is 1419 sq feet and is for sale for $321.500ish.   So that's $227 a sq ft.Now in the last 6 months in the same area the average home SOLD for $329,521 is was 1516 sq ft and on the market for 56 days.  The average home sold for $220 a sq f.The smallest home was 670 sq ft and the largest was 2446 sq ft.Now in the last 45 days in none senior housing the average home SOLD for $430,000 in 77 days and was 1997 sq ft.. That is an average of $224 a  sq ft.What's your home worth? Diane wanted to see the poppies, almost every time we go, our destination is the Poppy Preserve in Lancaster. This year Diane wanted to go to Chino Hills instead. I was all for it since I checked, and the Lancaster Poppie Preserve was nowhere near full bloom.Look at the contrast we were in 82-degree temperatures near the poppies and we could see the snowcapped mountains not that far away.So off we went to Chino Hills, and at the same time when we finished watching the bloom, I was 12 miles from one of my land listings, so I decided to take a detour on the way home to check out my listing.Anyway, on the way to the poppies less than a half a mile I saw this house now you tell me what you think? :)Diane & I were amazed at the lucky homeowners who have the view of the poppies.This post was ...

We have had the most unusual (or so it seems) weather this year....well, last Monday, I learned first hand what carrying away means!  I took my shirt off to spend a few minutes in my garden.  That few minutes turned into three hours!  When I came in, I thought, oh, the beach sun must not be as strong as I thought?  Took a shower, and then seems okay...then took a nap.  Well, when I woke up, I was a tomato!  My back was fairly scorched!That night when I took another shower, I read up on home remedies and one of them was to apply Apple Cider Vinegar.  Well, to be honest, that saved a trip to Rite Aid, and was very soothing.  It dried up fairly quickly as well.
