Hello again, from beautiful La Veta, Colorado.  It has been a while since I have been to Activerain, but we all know that life will just pass you by if you let it. I have been taking pictures and need to tell you about a few of the many great places that there are to visit in Southern Colorado.  When you're looking for fishing, beautiful scenery or just a place to relax, you need to visit Monument Lake in Stonewall, Colorado.   Located approximately 30 miles West of Historic Trinidad, Colorado and roughly the same distance from La Veta, Colorado, it is one of the most pristine high mountain lakes in Southern Colorado.  You have a great view of the West Spanish Peak, along with remnants of part of the Great Stonewall that lends it name to the quaint mountain hamlet of Stonewall, Colorado... 07/19/2007
