One of my proudest achievements has been running the 7-Mile Bridge Run, four times.   I actually ran in the very first one!  Though my times were certainly nothing to brag about, the experience certainly has been!!   I have as well, enjoyed the rare opportunity to participate in the race going both directions!  East to West and West to East.  It truly is amazing running with the Gulf to one side you and Atlantic on the other.   As you crest the hump of the bridge, high above the water, you can see the beautiful hues of color that change between the flats and channels.  Magnificent Beauty!  Though I did not run the race this year, I was certainly there in spirit!!!Below are excerpts from an article that I saw in Keysnet.com:"Hialeah lifeguard Daniel Martin, 27, won Saturday's 30th annual... 04/12/2011

There were 17 real estate sales closed in Key Largo from March 26 through April 1, 2011 as reported by the Florida Keys Board of Realtors Multiple Listing Service. Key Largo extends from Mile Marker 107 south to Mile Marker 91. The lowest sale price was $65K for a mobile home on Oakwood Ave and the highest was $1,275,000. for 9 Bounty Lane, an open water single family home with bay view and dockage. The medium price was just under $300K.
