This past weekend I was out doing one of my favorite things: exploring an area that is new to me!!! I had been down in Bradenton for the day and heard about changes that have taken place on Terra Ceia. Terra Ceia is an area of land surrounded by mangroves that is just south of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, which connects Pinellas County to Manatee County. On my way north I took a slight detour and explored Terra Ceia. It was a delightful journey to an area that is only minutes from St Petersburg via the Skyway Bridge, yet gives the impression that you are totally away from everything!!! Nature at it's best!!!
