Very gratefully, our home and our family in Atlanta are fine. Minor inconvenience of repeated electric outages yet no property damage at all. However, in my immediate neighborhood, many were not as fortunate. After three days of rain, Hurricane Helene arrived. Soil was soaked which makes for unstable conditions for tree roots.
