December 13th  Buhl Chamber of Commerce will be holding it's annual  Night Light Christmas. This years theme is "Christmas Around the World. It will be a full day and evening event. During the day the business will have in store specials and drawings. Ribbon cuttings for Rio Hondo's at noon and Buhl Winkle Vendor's Mall at 2 pm. A craft show and events with a chili feed and entertainment by the Jordan River Band downtown. In the evening will be the night parade. Following the parade the Eigth Street Center will be hosting an open house with hot chocolate, cookies and caroling. Come join in on all the fun.     12/06/2008

Today I went to the Senior Center for lunch. We have a citizen's commitee formed to find new ways to help fund the money needed for a water project in Buhl. The city had been mandated to clean the aresenic out of our water. This project will cost every household $27.00 more on the water bill. Bringing the total bill to $130.00 per month. We are a small town of 5000 people and not large incomes. Our committee was speaking to the seniors on this project. It made me thing about America, I think we all need to speak up and fight for all the little things that we are being charged for. Americans need to take back control of the local government by being present at our city counsil meeting and letting them hear what we think, 10/12/2008

It's the middle of October and we are having a beautiful snowy weekend. The trees are white and roofs are covered. Last week it was warm and the roses were blooming. What a difference a few days can make. Not to fear though it will be back in the 60's by the end of the week. Just a short cold front. 10/11/2008

Our market even affects the kids. Thank goodness it is not this bad in our area yet. We are still stable but alot slower, longer days on the market. Praying the bailout and the election will help people feel better about buying and selling. I am staying positive and working harder. I will survive. 10/05/2008

I had one of my rual listings broken into this weekend. It is located in the country and set back a long ways from the main road. The owner left in a hurry as he is horse breeder. He was to be gone a few weeks and that turned into months. His land had gotten very over grown with weeds. The price is right and this property has had many showings. I got a call this weekend that the house had been robbed. They had pulled in a truck and trailer and wiped him out. They took everything stove, refrigerator, washer dryer and even cleaned out the sheds. Is this happening in your areas? This happened in a small town Buhl, Idaho. Tonight around 6 there was a serious accident on Main St  in Buhl in front of the post office. A small car was making a u-turn and struck a motorcycle. The person on the bike was a young man. Injury to the biker  looked to be very serious. Please pray for the family and the driver of the car. This will be a  very hard night for all involved.   Great news. The kid had some head trauma but for the most part will be fine. Should be out of the hospital in a couple of days. YEAH. Sometimes there is a good ending.
