The Chubby Chickpea in Canton MA  I was scrolling through some photos in DropBox and stumbled across this photo taken at the Chubby Chickpea back in 2014 on the South Shore of Boston in Canton.  I was in New England for a business trip for CRS and had the great fortune to meet-up with some AR friends for the first time! I thought the name of the place was pretty cool, the food (Middle Eastern) was great, and of course the company was the best!! The event was organized by Nina Rogoff and included Praful Thakkar , Larry Lawfer and Christine Smith

The Canton MA Home Sales Report for August 2015 is in.  Sales remained steady but prices have come down slightly.  That should make Buyers really happy.  Let me give you the rundown on how the Canton MA market operated last month.Canton MA Home Sales Report - August 2015The MLS Property Information Network reported that a total of 20 Canton MA homes were sold during the month of August 2015.  This was 26% lower than the 27 sold the month prior.  But it was exactly the same amount as were sold during the same time last year.  With the exception of 2012, the Canton MA market typically sees sales of around 19 to 20 during the month of August.This news should make Buyers the happiest.  The average sale price of a Canton MA home in August 2015 was $424,050.  That is the lowest August average...

The 5K road race season is here!  Every weekend it seems there is a 5K or 10K going on in Canton or in the surrounding towns. The 14th Annual Luce School 5 K Fun Run/Walk and Childrens Fun Run will be held on Sunday, May 19, 20145 starting at 10:00 am at the Luce Elementary School in Canton MA. This event is run by and for the benefit of the Dean S. Luce School Canton Association of Parents and Teachers (CAPT) but is really an event for the entire Canton MA community.  We no longer have kids at the Luce but it remains one of our favorite events every year. The event kicks off at 10:00 am with the half-mile childrens run for ages 4-8, followed by a mile childrens run for ages 9-12.  The big event, the 5K run for all ages, starts at 11:00 am.  All the children in the childrens run receive...

 Canton's 2015 Annual Town Meeting starts tonight.  Call me a geek, a political junkie or someone who needs to get a life....but I look forward to Town Meeting every year!  Canton MA has an Open Town Meeting form of government.  There is a five-member Board of Selectmen who run the town and oversee the town administrator, but the legislative body is made up of the citizens of Canton.  All registered voters in Canton MA are eligible to attend and vote at the Annual Town Meeting.Annual Town Meeting commences tonight, Monday May 11th at 7:00 pm at Canton High's Morse Auditorium.  It runs until approximately 11:00 pm and runs every consecutive Monday and Wednesday until all items in the Warrant have been voted.The 2015 Annual Town Meeting is a big one for Canton.
