City of Gaithersburg Budget & Fee Schedule Adopted The FY22 budget process is now complete with the approval of the strategic plan, budget and fee schedule at the June 7 Mayor and City Council meeting. The strategic plan outlines the priorities for the City in the coming years, with the budget reflecting those priorities. The FY22 Adopted Revenue Budget is $70.6 million, and the FY22 Adopted Expenditure Budget is $70.2 million. Montgomery County, MD ABS Stores Resume Normal Hours Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich has announced that the retail stores of the County’s Department of Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) will return to normal hours of operation starting Sunday, June 13. The new schedule includes expanded hours and the reopening of stores on Sundays. Starting on June 13, stores will be open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and open noon-5 p.m. on Sundays. Montgomery County, Maryland COVID-19 Update 6/8/2021Montgomery County a National Leader in Vaccination Rates According to CDC data, in counties with a population of more than 300,000, Montgomery County leads the nation in the percentage of residents 12 and older who have been vaccinated.  Since the Pfizer vaccine was approved for adolescents ages 12- to 15-years in May, more than 28,000 youth have received their first dose. There are an estimated 60,000 residents 12-15 years old, and the goal is to vaccinate all of them.
