Dunleavy Lake real estate homes for sale. About 20 homes sit on the lake. Most of the waterfront homes are 1000-1500 square foot, though there are some that are as big as 2000 square feet. Dunleavy Lake is a privatelake that is 15 acres with a maximum depth of 75 feet. There are no wake restrictions that I am aware of. The lake appears to be a non-motorized lake. Here is an update on Duck Lake real estate, Highland Twp, Michigan.  Currently there is one Duck Lake home for lease in Highland Twp.  Right now there are 17 Duck Lake properties that have been on the market an average of 404 days.  To me as an agent that means some of these properties are over priced for the condition they are in.  The other reason they may be on the market so long is that they are in the over $500,000 range.  The higher end price ranges are moving much slower than the $450,000 and lower ranges. Duck Lake is a beautiful private all sports lake.  There a not many of the old 1930 less than 1000 square foot cottages left on the lake.  There are bays and canals on the lake that you have access on the lake yet not be part of the normal lake traffic and noise.  Peace and qui... 08/15/2011

 Currently there are 15 White Lake front homes (Highland, MI) for sale and 1 White Lake home for lease.  White Lake is a public 540 acre lake that is in both White Lake and Highland Township MI. It is a great lake.  I have spent time there skiing and kneeboarding.  White Lake is a busy lake on the weekends. If you are looking for a smooth calm lake with little boat traffic then White Lake won't be for you.  There is a deep area where some people tie up to swim.  And then there is the party area at the island. Near the end of last year Highland Township in my market area had a bit of a comeback going, and then... What happened to the Highland bounce? Both the inventory and the median home values rose for a while late in teh year and then started falling back to earth - see chart below. Highland was one of the hardest hit Twonships of the ones that I track. I suspect that more than a littel of the issue there is that buyers have been sticking closer to the major freeways and Highland is a bit too far north of the I-96 corridor for many would be buyers. Highland has also been hit hard by foreclosures and other distressed sales. Lots of distressed homes sold in the last quarter in Highland, whcih would also help account for the dip in both inventory and median home values. 02/11/2011

Highland, Michigan is one of the six local Township markets that I track on a weekly basis. Some of those markets have recently had a sort of revival, turning upward in terms of the median value of homes that have sold. Highland median home values had a renaissance of sorts at the end of last year, but has trended down again, with home values continuing to slide year-over-year. The inventory on the market continues it's fairly consistent slide as the foreclosure overhang is worked off. Foreclosed homes continue to represent more than 50% of the sales in Highland, at least so far in February, with the Median sale price in February at only $88,000 through last weekend.
