The first time I wrote about St. Louis Park's West End was when it first opened in 2009. A gourmet grocery store, a couple shops, a couple restaurants and a luxurious movie theater were about all that were there at that time. The West End has done a lot of growing up since then, and the January 2015 issue of Minnesota Monthly features it as one of Top Five Neighborhoods in the Metro Area. I'm not sure if it's handy homeowners or negligent contractors that are responsible, but I find the same installation defects on water softeners over and over again.  The installation instructions for water softeners are pretty much the same for all the different manufacturers, so the information I'm giving here should apply to just about any water softener.
