So far we lost a huge limb off a Bradford Pear tree and several limbs off my huge Magnolia tree which I really hate.   You just never know….. she makes killer pimento cheese! Yesterday I had phone duty in the morning. About 11:00 some agents came in and said they were going to a Realtor luncheon and asked if I would like to tag along.   Punxsutawney Phil has predicted . . . six more weeks of winter!   Yep, you heard it right Punxsutawney Phil resident of Punxsutawney, PA, has seen his shadow on this fine Groundhog Day! Punxsutawney is about 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. The ritual brought about 6,100 residents to a place called Gobbler’s Knob to witness the event.   It’s been reported that Punxsutawney Phil was still dressed in his Pittsburgh Steelers’ jersey from a Super Bowl party last night. East Lincoln Animal Hospital- This animal hospital saved Hannah's life. When I found out that she had developed an allergy to "plaque" on her teeth and gums, and it was killing her, I scoured the internet looking for someone/some place that had tackled this problem before. This place is the BEST vet I have ever been too and this is my story. I didn't want to trust anyone with my dog's life. I had already spent over $1500 with another vet on antibiotics, and removing teeth. My dog had 14 teeth removed already and she was in pain and her mouth was inflamed with infection. She was whining every day and her breath was foul. Drool everywhere. I was so freaked out.  Then I was blessed. I found this animal hospital on the internet. Open since 1978.   Promises of 25 new jobs in Lincoln County, NC . . . SENNEBOGEN North America SENNEBOGEN North America is coming to Lincoln County with promises of 25 new jobs to the area. Last July SENNEBOGEN North America, based in Charlotte, announced their plans to expand into Lincoln County. Investing $5.1 million in their 53,000 square foot parts distribution, training, and technical support center. The building is being built just off Highway 16 and Old Plank Road in the Lowesville area of East Lincoln County near Julius Blum Company. The facility is expected to be operational early this year (2009). SENNEBOGEN North America employees who may be new to the area will not have to worry about housing, schools, or shopping.   Building in Denver, NC has been given a GREEN light . . . if the economy cooperates! Lincoln County commissioners have just approved a plan to allow nearly 800 new homes to be built in and around the Denver area. Prior to this the area has had a two-year long self-imposed moratorium on new sewer permits sighting the ten-year old Forney Creek wastewater plant was near capacity and the county was concerned about getting state penalties if they went over capacity.        Approval of the new plant, which will be located off Old Plank Road, came last month. This approval meant the county could in turn approve construction of new projects. The commissioners choose to approve commercial and residential projects that were already previously approved and in the pipeline prior to the moratorium... 01/14/2009
