Have just returned home to Concord NH from a 5 day trip to Saint George,Maine a picturesque township of Knox County. We made  the four hour trip up to my Dad's place (Papa' Ocean) to visit with my California Brother who had just come East!Thought you all may enjoy my travel tale....and some of the sights of Maine. We arrived mid afternoon at the Maine house.     Spent most of our time on the deck catching up and enjoying the scenery!       All were in a party mode and planned to have dinner at another Brothers Resturant, Sul Mare' In Tennants Harbor. The price is definately right! And it's GOOD FOOD!               One can't go to Maine without hitting the Antique Stores ( The California Brother and his wife are Antique Print Dealers and come East to buy and do the Brimfield Flea Market...

This is the Lender's portion of our seminar series, "Everything You Didn't Know about Condominium Associations," Hosted by Joan Mirantz of Keeler Family Realtors, Monika Rifenburgh of Exact Property Management, and myself. Joan has provided  Realtor perspective on the central New Hampshire condo market.  Monika spoke directly on the how's and what's of condo associations. When most people think of a condo here in NH, they usually think of rows of townhouses. But the term condominium doesn’t actually refer to the unit of the property, but the legal and ownership status of the entire condo project. A condo certainly can be rows of townhouses, but it can also be a community of cottages, or one floor of what used to be a 3 family home, or a converted apartment building. The actual descripti...

When I went to bed last night it was snowing...but not hard. I could still see the grass in the back yard... a welcome sight after dirty dog stained snow, icey bird feeders and brittle tree branches."Oh ,it wouldn't be the first time they've been wrong" I thought" Weather isn't exactly an exact science!" Well...this is what I awoke to!      In my own back yard!   Mother Nature wins again!      Guess the Garden will have to wait!                                         I have a Love Hate Relationship with Snow!! Concord NH Realtor Local Information

Several years ago ,in my LBRE, Life Before Real Estate, I had my own Food Service Company. One of my earliest lessons was that my business wasn't just about my Employees or my Customers it was also about my Suppliers!  Ours was a very symbiotic relationship. If I did well by them...they did well by me. If I had the courtesy to have an order ready  on time and filled in correctly, if I arranged for Sales calls convenient to both partys, if I made a point to Thank them for their efforts or pass on a thumbs up to a boss if I was appreciative, courteous and fair....it was all to my benefit. If I needed a last minute product ...it was hand delivered. If I had a slow week on receipts...it was ok. If I forgot ...they reminded me! It was a partnership. I was not the only person responsible ...

Concord is New Hampshire's Capitol City_____ As such it is a hub of Political activity and notoriety. The First in the Nation Primary brings many political wanna bees -famous and not so famous- to our Main Street and corner stores. The people in the area take this power to "meet and great" very seriously. Our House of Representatives numbers between 375-400 members, representing every district in the State. This is a true reflection of public service in that they each receive only $200 compensation per year. Our Representative Hall is the oldest chamber in the US still in continuous Legislative use. But for those of us who live here...there is another side of Concord. Neighborhoods! These neighborhoods have their own Community Centers, Churches, Parks, Pools and Grammar schools. This nei...
