Over the holidays I was kept busy showing a few homes accross the city. I also came accross many Sellers who were present while selling their home in Orleans. If I can suggest one thing that will help expedite your sale... Don't interfere when your home is being shown! Let your Realtor do their job. Buying a home is an emotional experience and a big decision; when walking through their new potential home people like to "try on" a house to see if it's comfortable for them. Open Houseshosted during the week can be quite effective and bring interested parties to the house.  On occasion its good to mix it up and instead of having an Open House on a Saturday or a Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  I have one on a Wednesday or Thursday.  Its the middle of the week, people are travelling from home, school, etc. and might just stop in and .....
