OK I was with a buyer yesterday and looked at two houses. One they hated and one they "Were Ok With". Long story short, they wanted to make an offer on the one house. As usual it was low but I thought possibly it had a chance anyway. Now to "The Twist". The twist is that the buyer wanted to know if I can present the offer in a manner to show half of the 'sale price' on the AOS and the other half as a side deal with the seller thereby lowering the overall transfer tax as well as any tax advantages the buyer might be able to use from such a pathetic showing sales price. I guess I am just curious if anyone else has ever had something similar happen to them.
