It’s a question a Buyer asked quite a few times as we moved along the steps towards closing.Yes the Buyer can change their mind prior to closing, and sometimes they do.We had a young couple years ago who were buying their first home, together. Things moved along to the point where the young woman’s parents paid off the young man’s truck.  This step enabled them to move forward with their purchase.The night before closing we received a call from the young woman saying closing would not be happening the next morning.  Reason being, they broke up. For the last two weeks the headlines on our local Philadelphia radio and TV stations have been about Danilo Cavalcante, the escaped murderer from a nearby Chester County prison. From what I’ve heard, people have been captivated by this around the country and the world.Delaware County borders Chester County PA where all of this unfolded.We first found out about it when we heard that Longwood Gardens was closed and we happened to be talking to friends who live in the retirement community, Kendal, that borders Longwood. My mom made the most wonderful sweet bread (Paska) with raisins during the Easter season when I was growing up. She would make large quantities of the bread in order to donate some loaves as a fundraiser for the church, and to give bread to family and friends.It was a treat to sample the bread while it was hot with melting butter….and the smell...wonderful!Her bread making was a labor of love which took many hours and took up a lot of space in our kitchen and dining room. Bread pans covered with damp towels with rising dough could be found in the warmest places in the house.
