The Parkland Real Estate Report Card is in for November 2015 and the grades are pretty good!  The stats from the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors show an increase in closed sales from a year ago from 641 homes sold to 684 year-to-date, an increase of 6.7%.  Even more promising is the increase in pending sales, which are homes that are under agreement but not yet closed.  This 'future market' indicater shows that we expect 10.8% more homes will sell in the next few months which would give us a total of 737 homes that were under contract this year.See all of the homes for sale in the Parkland School District!The number most homeowners want to see regards their home value.  Unfortunately this number is still relatively flat compared to a year ago.  At the beginning of 2015 I wrote that we'd ... 12/30/2015

2105 is starting out strong for the Parkland Real Estate Report Card with strong indicators that homes in the Parkland School District will still be in high demand this spring and summer. The number of new homes on the market at the start of the year is up 41.7% to start the year, from 60 a year ago to 85 this January. This may be due to the fact that while this winter has not been fun, we haven't had nearly as much snow as a year ago. We had a delayed spring market last year due to the weather but this year has found that buyers are still out there looking for homes in the cold and snow.
