Having moved here only a few years ago, I have been overwhelmed by "Texas pride".  I find it so refreshing! People do not hesitate to plaster their cars with their kids honor roll stickers, the logo of their favorite high school, or college football team, and when you drive out in the country you find a lot of American and Texas flags flying side by side.  Most every home has some kind of Texas star adorning it.  This is a picture of a barn floor at a property in Cedar Creek just 20 minutes outside of Austin.  Being a horse woman I love the brick floors but it would be hard for me not to kick my horses out into the pastures and convert this barn into a little area to entertain my friends!    Needless to say we have our Texas star on the front of our home ( that was fun shopping for!) an... 09/28/2007
