Does God still talk?  As we read through the Bible we see example after example of God talking with mankind. Does the end of the Bible represent the end of God's Voice to mankind? Biblical Scholars assure us that the Bible is complete in its doctrinal message to mankind. But what about day to day decisions we make, is God interested in speaking into our lives instructional, directionally and just lovingly? Jesus said "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." (Jn. 10:27) It was by speaking that God made the universe, it was by speaking that God called man to Himself. It was by speaking that God introduced Himself to Moses in the desert. His voice still speaks to those who will listen.  The key to hearing from God is belonging to HIm. "My Sheep listen to my voice"....

#GODtalksSept. 4th 10:30a GRACE PLACE CHURCH1500 Royston LaneRound Rock, Texas  What is it all about? We go to church and we expect to meet our friends, to see people we love, to hear some great music maybe get an encouraging word. We expect all that. What we probably don’t expect is to SEE GOD! To really meet Him in person. In other words much of our faith based experience is anchored in intellectual endeavors. We can't imagine God is interested enough or even has the time to show up for us individually...right?Does God really want to speak to us? I believe He does. I have had personal encounters with God that have changed everything about me. I want that for you as well. God wants that for you! That is exactly what this nine week series is all about.

PLAN:  You want to look ahead as best you can for to the next 10 years. You will want to consider how stable your job  will be. How big is your family? What kind of community will meet your family needs (schools, shopping, church, hobby's, values)? Make a plan that is flexible and simple. You are looking to meet basic needs for your household. EDUCATE: Reach out to people around you for advise. Contact professionals to assist you: A real estate agent, a mortgage broker, construction tradesmen, inspectors.  With good planning, and education you will be ready to enter the market and find the home that will work for you and your family. The 10 year mark in real estate is not just a random number but it is usually the time line needed to live in a home and make improvements that will help...

The biggest mistake you can make is to believe you are selling real estate! You are selling YOU! The first purchase a client makes it the "trust" purchase. They want to know the person representing them is worthy of their trust. It does not matter how great the properties you represent it matters that you can be trusted.   The first thing that gets sold is you. Your character, attentiveness, knowledge and caring are the focus of your prospective client. They are watching you, listening to you, paying attention to your body language, researching you after the listing appointment.  Make sure you understand that YOU are the first purchase of every client. They need to know you are worthy of their trust.  Go out and make it a great MONDAY!!

Round Rock, Texas, was established on the north bank of Brushy Creek where Jacob M. Harrell, formerly a blacksmith in Austin, set up his shop during the spring of 1848. The settlement was first called Brushy Creek. Thomas C. Oatts, who became the first postmaster in 1851, was asked by postal officials to submit another name, and on August 24, 1854, the town officially became Round Rock, as suggested by Oatts and Harrell, who often fished together from a large anvil-shaped limestone rock in Brushy Creek near their homes. The Chisholm Trail, used by early cattle drivers on their way to Kansas, passed through Round Rock, crossing Brushy Creek near the rock.   In 1876, when the International-Great Northern Railroad was built through Williamson County, its tracks were laid a short distance ...

One important key is to develop an advance strategy that allows time to prepare for the market. But what happens when you need to sell quickly. A number of factors can occur that require a quick sale of your home: Unemployment, illness, a divorce, family crisis or a new opportunity in another location.  1. Engage the services of a Real Estate Professional. Realtor's are connected to a number of professionals that can mobilize to help you get ready to sell: Handymen services, Title Company, Inspectors and so much more. They will also be able to help you find the right price in the current market. 2. Pack and clear We accumulate so many possessions over a lifetime. You will need to work to minimize those possessions in each room so that buyers who visit can see the sq. footage and dream ...

PLANNING THE TRIP… A priest sat next to man on an Airplane. They were both on their very first flight. Once the plane reached 35000 ft the Airline attendants started serving drinks.  The man asked the priest “Father, If you are up for it I will buy you a drink?”   “Oh’ no thanks said the priest. We are a little too close to the home office”. Sticky statement of the day…  Discipline: is doing what you don’t want to do now so you can do what you want to do later. The kind of discipline I want to talk with you about his weekend involves… A Decision to Carve out time in your Day for God! Here is what I want to say from the beginning. The things that we begin as disciplines later become some of the great sources of JOY in our lives.  I was talking with a long distance runner a couple of yea...
