A while ago, I wrote a post about a proposed Planning and Zoning change coming before the Addison Town Council regarding the White Rock Chapel.  Over the summer, the council voted down the recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission which would have allowed the church to operate. October is national Fire Safety month. In 1871, the Great Chicago Fire raged for 3 days over the period of time between October 8th through the 10th.
