This will be their 7th annual event that is held in the fall each year in Hurricane Utah. 25 Hours in Frog Hollow is a team relay and solo rider mountain bike event made up of single participants and teams of 2, 4, 5, or 10. The race will last a long 25 hours that will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Fourth of July in Hurricane Utah-July 4, 2015Lots of fun events are planned for the Fourth of July in Hurricane Utah this year!The fun begins at 7 am with the Lions Club Breakfast held at the Community Center and benefits the Hurricane Lions Club.  Breakfast will be served early enough so that those who will be participating in the parade will be able to grab a bite to eat before lining up for the parade.  Prices are $6 adults, $4 children, or $26 family.  The breakfast will include a drink, pancakes, eggs, and sausage.Next up is the "Stars & Stripes" parade which begins at 8:30 am followed by the flag raising ceremony at 9:15 am.Fun continues throughout the day with lots of games, food and races. Bull's oversized genitalia ignites brouhaha in small town America!   There's a ruckus going on in Hurricane, Utah about a restaurant owner's bull mascot, the owner and the local people. Here is the story. Apparently Barista's Restaurant, located in the downtown area of the city has got a lot of people flustered about its sign's over-sized male parts.    This is the sign that is causing an uproar.   Personally, I thought it was a beautiful piece of metal art, not paying much attention to the party hat-shaped area of the bull.
