THINGS TO DO - OLYMPIC PENINSULA'S SHI SHI BEACH The rock formations called the Point of Archers near Shi Shi Beach (pronounced shy shy) on the Olympia Peninsula is one of the most pristine beaches in the state.  To get there requires some work. First, drive through the windy tree-lined road about 8.5 miles south of Neah Bay, Wash., about 4.5 hours northwest of Seattle near the farthest northwest point in the lower 48 states on the Olympic Peninsula. After a 2-mile hike along a wilderness trail with a descent down a 150-foot bluff, the reward is one of the most pristine spots on the coastline of Olympic National Park: Shi Shi Beach.
