Myself, I think multitasking is a big myth... Unless you call downloading a file or rendering a video and hanging out on Facebook at the same time as multitasking. Or perhaps watching TV and writing your blog post during commercials. I use two screens almost all the time, except when I’m on my iPhone. I normally have several programs, apps, and websites up, but I dance from one tab to the next like packets in a data stream. I find it hard if not impossible to actually do two things simultaneously, except maybe driving the car while listening to music.      The closest thing to multitasking I’ve ever seen is working with Title Reps. December Market Report   Activity in December this year decreased by 12 percent. The average sales price was two percent  higher than last year's December.  This year homes closed 44 days more quickly. Sellers accepted three percent less than their original listing price.               Homes continue to sell more quickly and at higher prices. October Closed Transactions We are comparing activity in North Tacoma and University Place. Activity in October this year decreased by eight percent over activity in October of 2011 The average sales price was 25%  higher.  This year homes closed 48 days more quickly. Sellers accepted 11% less than their original listing price.     If you'd like the selling details of the home that sold in your neighborhood, just ask. Homes are selling much more quickly and at higher prices. Inventory is down to 389 homes in North Tacoma and University Place ranging in listing price from $54,000 to $5.9 million.  The average listing price is $326,500 (up from $253,146 last month) with a median of $245,000 (up from $179,380).

I had a listing appointment today and I decided to approach the price question in a different way.  I often get shot down when I give my price opinion and I thought I would ask the seller what she thought her house was worth and then I would give my opinion and justify it with my data.
