You CAN Snorkel in the Washougal River in Washougal, WA! My granddaughter, Morgan Urell is living proof that it's fun to snorkel in the Washougal River. She has exceled at it this summer. She snorkels and brings us lots of surprises and pretty rocks. She catches little fish and crawdads and explores the river bottom. Motor Cross MX + Washougal River Frontage Open House|Washougal, WA Washougal's famous Motor Cross is happening this weekend, July 23-25th, 2010. LordBoard-All Phase Drywall Repair I met the nicest family today, completely by accident! (I had lost my cellphone and stopped by their house to see if it had been found near there.) Rick James of LordBoard Drywall. I also met his wife Cindi. I've passed their house jillions of times and always loved that they decorated for every holiday. The opening ceremony at Schmid Field in Washougal, WA was a joyous day for parents and children alike. Finally, East County baseball/softball players had a first class facility with ample parking, adequate restrooms and seating, excellent handicapped accessibility, room for concession stands, and more. But for the East County Little League(ECLL) female softball players, the festivities were short lived. After just one fall season of playing, the board at the ECLL decided that the field the girls started playing on would be used for boys only and filled in with grass. Washougal River Living Homes are a LIFESTYLE!   There are many fun water sport activities available on the Washougal River in Washougal, WA!  I was driving up the beautiful Washougal River Rd. the other day. I looked down on the river bank, there was a good friend of ours standing down near the river, fishing pole in hand. Surprisingly, there was a big grey Heron standing behind him. The Heron was only about six feet away from him, not scared at all. I yelled down a my friend, Jack. "Hey, Jack, how are you today.... and did ya notice the big bird?" Washougal, WA may be small but we have the Two Rivers Heritage Musem!! It's located right near Pendelton Woolen Mills right off of Hwy 14, which is known as the Lewis and Clark Hwy. This area is also located right next to the new walk tunnel that goes over to the Columbia River and the dike and fishing area. (The fishing dock is a very popular place to catch Salmon and Steelhead.
