The short answer: It's taking longer in 2026 than it has in years.So far this year, 1,354 homes have sold in the immediate Tri-Cities area*. Those homes spent an average of 63 days on market and a median of 32 days on market. Compare that to Jan 1 thru May 28, 2025: We had 1,279 sales and those homes spent an average of 54 days on market and a median of 29 days on market.
