 I was sitting by the beach enjoying my coffee and the view this morning when a paddle boarder brought his board up and leaned it up against the building beside me. At this time a maintenance worker walked up and asked the man, in his early 20s, if he could lay his board down so it would not fall over and injure someone or do property damage. The young man reluctantly complied as a friend brought his board up and leaned up against the same wall. He told his friend that he just got yelled at for putting his board there and he should move it.My perspective of being yelled at is much different than being told no or asked to move something as a safety concern.
