Explain if you can, why after centuries of houses quietly having rain gutters, now there is a bombardment of ads saying that not having gutter covers means they end of the world as we knew it. What gives? Did some slick huckster look up and discover the gutters on his house? And see $$$$$$ signs. I mean, come on now.Where I live (Tucson) we haven't had rain in 53 days now. What should we worry about here? Heck, we barely have trees that lose leaves. Cactus needles, sure. But doubt those will fly up and menance the unshielded gutters.
