Today, the NASCAR family lost a strong warrior.  A warrior who changed the NASCAR world forever. She passed away today.Before she left, she touched hundreds of thousands of lives.  Not just for cancer victims, but also their families.  Now each year NASCAR will place the names of folks with cancer on cars that are taking place in the race.Because of her strength, families and cancer victims had hope.  They even had joy.Rest in peace, Sherry.  This week keeps on giving, giving and giving!  Guess we won the lottery!  First we got our water bill and it was sky high. Oh great, another big water leak!  The plumbers came out first thing Thursday morning and they located the leak at the main water line and shut the water off immediately. They thought they had the right spot to dig to fix the pipes and 5 hours later... they still hadn't found it. Man, now they had to shift course and tear out  part of our huge bougainvillea trees and go under it.  3 hours later they thought they had the problem solved.  Back on went the water - with no luck. They worked until 8:30 that night to finally get the water hooked back up and said they'd come back the next day to fill in the hole.  Fine with us.   We were thankful to have water back on!  A... 09/17/2023

I am very proud of a couple of things that I have achieved in my real estate career..I have made Sacramento Association of Realtors Master's club every year that I have sold real estate!  My first year of real estate in 1987, I made Master's Club!  This was a huge accomplishment in my first year.  I became an Outstanding Life Member approximately 10 years later (I took 2 years off of real estate during this time).  It has always meant a lot to me to be recognized as one of the top Realtors in the area.I also was a Member of KW ALC for over 10 years!  I found this as my way to give back to an industry that has given so much to me.  Being part of the Agent Leadership Council in my office was definitely a responsibility and it was truly very rewarding.  I love that Keller Williams Realty s... 09/19/2023

Finding properties for a buyer when inventory is low to non-existent has been a real challenge. Finding a perfect home-even more of a challenge. I have been working with this buyer for a year or more.  Her desires in a home are specific, and she does not deviate. Her wish list is in Baltimore County, with an easy commute to her studio.  It has to be pristine (if not brand new) and finished to move in immediately.  Public water and gas cooking is a must. There's a lot of doom and gloom afoot in the real estate world!  It seems like everywhere we turn, we are being told the sky is falling!  But is it?  Truly, the current market really feels like a fairly normal fall market here in the Sacramento area. Yes, we are experiencing...🥴 High interest rates🤪 Crazy low inventory😘 Fairly consistent prices...not really up or down🙃 And longer days on marketThe fact is that homes are still selling!  At a slower rate than in the spring and summer months but that's normal for the beginning of fall.  Sellers are figuring out what to do to get buyers into contract...they are being a bit more flexible and sometimes offering credits to buy down interest rates and buyers are getting a bit more used to higher rates.  If we saw more inventory right now we wou... 09/17/2023
