Snow Canyon Half Marathon St. George, Utah | November 18th, 2023  Over 2000 registrants from 18 states and Canada have registered to participate in this amazing southern Utah event! The Half Marathon winds through the scenic landscape of Snow Canyon State Park.The course is: downhill fast paced challenging  It also offers stunning views at every turn!  NEW BALLANTYNE AREA HIGH SCHOOL GETS A NAME: BALLANTYNE RIDGE HIGH SCHOOLA new high school is opening in the Ballantyne area in 2024.  The new high school is situated on a 71-acre site in Ballantyne at the corners of Johnston Road and Community House Road. The new high school is expected to relieve over-crowding at Ardrey Kell High School in Ballantyne and South Mecklenburg and Myers Park High Schools in south Charlotte. Construction is 58% complete on the $146 million project. Opening is schedule for the 2024/2025 school year. The new Ballantyne high school will include 100 classroom, several athletic fields, academic buildings, auditorium for performing arts, and a full-sized football stadium. We discovered something we knew nothing about, the Silver Lake Recreation Center on the north side of The Villages, Florida has two jigsaw puzzle exchange rooms.  Michelle’s mom is into jigsaw puzzles and our friend Carol told us about the rec center having them.  So off we go to check it out and they have the puzzles.One room is for 500 pieces and under and the other room is 1,000 piece puzzles and they have a large selection of puzzles.  I know some of my friends do jigsaw puzzles for health reason so I Googled the benefits of doing Jigsaw Puzzles and this is what I found:  “Jigsaw puzzles can help you relax and may reduce heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing rate as a result. Yesterday I went to Canter's, a well know Jewish Deli in Los Angeles.  Just to be clear, when I am near it, and conducting Real Estate I make it my time to stop and get some delicatessen or desert and have been doing it for the past 26+ years. A little history, The Canter family originally opened a deli in Jersey City, N.J in 1924 and came to California after World War Two around 1948.  Since the Fairfax District of West Hollywood has been predominantly consisting of a larger Jewish population, they decided to move and open a Deli there.Then after their success they expanded and moved to a better location and added a restaurant. W. 's was 3200 and O. W. Lucky me! I had a window seat on a Chartered Bus and saw this amazing architectural art on the wall of a building near the UNT Dallas College of Law. The three-dimensional historical artistic representation was designed to pop off the building to get your attention! Why this post on Friday? Because Friday is Why Day. When it comes to learning, I am always interested in exploring eye-popping learning opportunities!Upon arrival at the UT Dallas College of Law Center I had to sit on the bus with everyone else to wait for security clearance to enter the building. The holiday season is a busy time of the year here in The Villages and one of the unique events is the annual SantaCon Pub Crawl held at Brownwood Paddock Square.  The event kicks off at 3:00 pm on Thursday December 14th at City Fire and continues in Brownwood until 5:30.  Next the 200 lucky people who were able to buy tickets to the dinner dance at Belle Glade Country Club head there for more fun, the dinner dance is sold out.  I wrote about the event last year and the pictures on their official Facebook page were amazing.  The pub crawl is free and open to everyone and if like last year the square will be packed with Santa’s, elves, Grinch’s and famous characters from movies and other Christmas stories.  Patrinas a well know entertainer here in The Villages will provide the entertainm... 11/17/2023

I am so grateful for my clients who allowed me to get this award. As most of you know I am a workaholic.
