 If a Realtor has at least five years of experience in your local market, has visited your property, carefully examined its features, identified comparable properties, provided a thorough market analysis, and discussed the factors that affect your home's value, you can trust their estimate more than Zillow's. Zillow often gets it wrong, either overestimating or underestimating home values. What Are Days on Market (DOM)  In Real Estate, Days on Market means the number of days from the date on which a property is listed for sale on the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS), to the date when there was an accepted offer by the seller, and they signed the contract for the sale of the property with the buyer.
