To  Today, Clear Capital (a leading provider of intelligent valuation solutions for the mortgage and lending industries) released its monthly Home Date Index Market Report, which contains a small degree of pure optimism.
      In 2012, Clear Capital is forecasting U.S. home prices to show continued stabilization with a slight gain of 0.2 percent across all markets. That would put national home prices near levels not seen since 2001.  If this prediction rings true, it would be the first time since 2006 that prices have landed in a positive direction.

More millionaires were created as a result of the great depression than at any time in the nation's history.  And, again, there are many opportunities in this real estate market.
All indicators point to a sluggish real estate market that will remain soft for some time to come-The Case-Shiller reports a bottoming out of the market may occur in May 2011.  Moody's Economy.com predicts prices will hit bottom in Broward and Palm Beach counties in the third quarter of 2011.  BUT, most of the declines will occur over the next six months.  Meanwhile, we will wait … (0 comments)

market update: FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, MARKET UPDATE - 11/04/09 02:15 AM
Below please see the actual numbers for real estate sold/pending in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for 7/08 through 9/09.
The important information to note is the Sold properties have INCREASED 34.7% during this time period.  In addition, pending sales have increased 95.7%--however, the question will be--do all pending sale close?  The average price per square foot currently is $192.00.  Finally, in all property on the market (condos and single-family homes) there is a 13.2 month supply.  While a normal supply of properties is about 6-9 months, this number isn't bad--considering how much of an inventory we've had in the past.
