My real estate business is totally in the cloud thanks to the education I receive through the real estate industry. Everything I am about to explain I can access from any online computer anywhere in the world and on my smart phone. Tools we use: 1. Online transaction management system (tms) that is directly connected to our MLS. This allows the mls to directly input public records into the forms we use. MI Association of Realtors believes like you do. Appraisers should join us. MAR purchased an appraisal management company called Midwest. The goal is that the lender in MI choose Realtor Appraisers that belong to Midwest. When Midwest puts an appraiser on an assignment, the appraiser must belong to the "local MLS" of that area. The role out was presented at Achieve and there were many appraisers in the room with questions. Some are speaking against this, they are the people not in attendance while the program was rolled out and explained. As I sat down to renew my designations, I noticed only one education designation demanded that I take a new course at no extra charge.
If you want us to carry your designation that supposedly makes you and your members outstanding...can you be outstanding and give us something for the money we pay to carry your name. Just a simple course!
EcoBroker Certified® demands that members take a course before we can renew. Let's applaud them. This designation is not in the National Association of Realtor's designation family. When I renewed and had to take a class, I really felt like … (4 comments)

Do not get caught at the National Assocation of Realtors handing out business cards when you can easily have a QR code on your phone ready to share...
QR codes are quickly catching on, especially in the green movement. Simply click here, get your code.
On you phone, download an application. I like Barcode Scanner myself.
At the conference, have you barcode set as your homepage so people can quickly scan your infomation. This also gives you time to say Hello...
