This summer, the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center once again challenges the Auburn community to create a masterpiece out of sidewalk chalk for the 3rd Annual Sidewalk Chalk Challenge. This year's chalk creations must be inspired by a famous artist or piece of architecture. The submission must include three facts about the artist/architecture selected OR three reasons how the artist/architecture inspired the chalk work. All chalk creations have to be submitted no later than Thursday, August 4. Judging will take place Friday, August 5, and winners will be announced on the same day on the Auburn Arts Association's Facebook page. Prizes will be … (2 comments)
