I was driving by the Cabela's construction site today and couldn't believe how fast it is coming along. In the same drive I also noticed that the old Great Indoors has some construction vehicles parked by it. Guessing they are getting ready to knock it down, or at least part of it. I'm hearing they want to do more outdoor space. Also, there are some heavy rumors that IKEA will be coming in the near future to the area that was formerly the Polaris Amphitheater. The Polaris Area, in Columbus OH near Lewis Center I have lived in the Polaris area for the last 8 years, so perhaps my view is somewhat biased, but the continued growth of this area is absolutely astonishing. I can remember coming to this area while a freshman in college to see concerts at the then “Polaris Amphitheatre”. Around it were two hotels, Max & Ermas, Wendy’s, a few office buildings and a couple of gas stations.
