Once considered a fad, the going Green movement is growing. There are now several Green certifications available to real estate professionals. NAR's GREEN and Eco-Broker are two of the better known certifications out there. The use of energy saving, environmentally friendly and sustainable products has had a positive impact on the environment as well as on consumers' budgets. Besides saving money though, property owners have also found that using materials that don't give off harsh or toxic chemicals has been a safer and healthier choice.
