I've been busy doing what real estate agents do best! BUYING A HOUSE! Many of you have read in my blogs about my commute to the office from Eureka Springs. Yes, the 40 mile one way stretch through the beautiful Arkansas countryside. Add about 10 miles per day to the average for running around Bentonville/Rogers to show property or otherwise tend to business. Yes lets call it 90 miles per day, 5 days a week. My clever little Nissan Murano gets about 21 mpg. I know, not great but it is so fast when I need it to be. So lets do … (29 comments)

Ever think about the changing comforts of home? We should never take for granted that our culture includes home ownership for many. Certainly we want to believe that every American has a shot at the dream. Pride of ownership seems to move us, whether the abode be modest or magnificent. It is a matter of the heart in so many ways. I'm fascinated by all that that means. From the days when a home was perhaps a cave or not much more than that to now. We have experienced the changing comforts of home.
