The article goes on to say Bend which battled and surpassed Medford as the hottest real estate market in the state during the euphoric early 2000's, is the No. 2 list of 15 markets with Medford Oregon No. 3 and Eugene Oregon No. 14. More good news in the Medford Mail Tribune this morning says Americans are gradually getting back their lost money. Most of the gain came in stock portfolios. Their definition of net worth is the value of assets such as homes, checking accounts and investments minus debts like mortgages and credit cards. Home values edged up .2% this is not much but it is huge in terms of finally heading in the right direction. The combination of the two will help people start to get back out and spend a little.
