What a great opportunity for someone who just doesn't have the energy for a puppy. Sheeba is an older lady, maybe 7 years old, and is what you'd expect with age... calm, well-mannered, loveable and so sweet. This handsome guy's story hits close to my heart because we've had two Australian shepards ourselves and they are the smartest and most loyal dogs we've known. And this poor guy had a hard start in life. He arrived at the shelter, scared of everything and everyone. He quickly warms up to people though, when treated gently. This is our dog Jax (with our son Sam), a Newfoundland who we adopted from an animal shelter in Walla Walla Washington about 4 1/2 years ago. Gracie is a real find, the kind of pup you just wish you could find at a shelter. Here she is... waiting to meet her new parents. Gracie is about 7 months old and is all puppy. I chose to feature Bomber today because as soon as I saw his photo and read his bio on the shelter website, I knew I would love to have him... if only we didn't already have FOUR dogs. Poppy is an absolute hoot! The girl just lives to play, especially fetch. Throw a ball for her and she's yours for good. Poppy is longing to be someone's lap dog as she loves to cuddle, wants a lot of attention and especially loves belly rubs. She enjoys other dogs, but because she can be a bit shy at first, it's probably best that she goes to a home with no small children. Part poodle and part terrier, Poppy is microchipped, current on all vaccinations, has been spayed and is probably a year or two old.
