Dear Creative Concepts: I need a Home Make-over! I’d love to have a home I “fall in love with” every time I walk in the door. For me – finding cute home decor is the easy part – having it look great when I get it home can be a challenge. I buy things that are so cute and then get home and think, “what do I do w/ it now?!” How do I get a room to look “pulled together”? I’d like a stylish look, comfortable for my family but one that I LOVE! Thanks, Design Challenged Dear Design Challenged: (3 comments)
We get asked all the time “where do you shop for such cute things?” For over a year we’ve been counting on Real Deals in Portland to have just the “right thing” – and have bought tons from their darling store – from clocks to furniture, metal art to candles. With a little magic, vacant rooms can come alive and show buyers the full potential on the internet and in person. Here's a quick snipit of a job we completed last week. The best way to entice potential buyers to envision living in a home is to make sure it appeals to their senses - which is nearly impossible to do when it is vacant! interior redesign: That little something extra - on a budget!

We all have had that moment -- we are done staging but need a little something for the table or desk -- not another candle or plant either! After reading all the great posts, I used a scrapbook paper, added a few "stickers" and put it in the frame I had on hand. On the frame are a couple of embellishments a world and compass that were also in the scrapbook department. On the desk is a photo album which I also added a few "travel" embellishments. The room has so much added charm for only pennies! sorry for the camera (1 comments)
