weather: The weather is not as nice in CT as in Vancouver!

In CT, we have had snowstorm after snow storm. Last year, in January, my witch hazel chose to bloom! Gorgeous yellow blossoms all over it, lasting for a month. It carried us through until we got crocuses in March.
Witch hazel in January of 2009 in Wilton, CT This year, however, not a one open yet, and we're nearing the end of February. That means we won't see our crocuses until April this year!
