We recently discussed the presence of termites in Lakeland real estate, and among other termite truths, I suggested that it was a good idea to have your home inspected for termites on a regular schedule. This advice goes for those purchasing a home for their family as well. Now I want to mention some other areas that should be closely inspected when purchasing a new or used home in Lakeland. 1. You may love to entertain and throw lavish parties in your Lakeland home, but there are some visitors that you really don't want wandering in. These visitors prefer to become permanent residents on your Lakeland real estate. They're called termites! And they can literally "eat you out of house and home" as the saying goes.
