copeland sculpture garden: Reflections on the Delaware Art Museum - 05/13/20 08:42 AM
In my Mother's Day story on ROCKS, I mentioned the Delaware Art Museum's Copeland Sculpture Garden. Today I would like to show you some of the works of art found there. One of the most popular pieces is Tom Otterness' Crying Giant, a 13' bronze construction. My favorite viewing point for this work is where it is reflected in the windows of the museum's Education Wing.
Another interesting piece is Protecting the Future, by Domenico Mortellito, a limestone sculpture which looks sort of Pre-Columbian to me.
